Chapter 3---Demise

Jojo understood know what the girl wanted him to do and as gullible as he was for music he would do it anyway. He began to run into the dark wall the same one the girl had disappeared into, as he entered the wall he felt even colder and it was much darker than he's ever seen, but for a strange reason he was no longer walking but more like floating it was a strange feeling but he didn't fight this feeling he just let this floating feeling lead him deeper into the darkness feeling the wind blow through his midnight black hair, until he stopped floating and soon felt his feet touch the ground. As he stopped it still felt cold and it was completely dark, it stayed that way for a while, until more floor torches began to light the room giving him a better view of were he was in what looked to be like the front room of a huge mansion with two side staircases starting at the ground and meeting in the middle connected to a balcony and then again forming one single staircase leading to the second floor. As Jojo's eye's began to scan the staircase he noticed more torches being lit up along the staircase until it reached the second floor were an even bigger fire was lit on each side of a huge window, were that same girl which Jojo had seen in the last room was standing right in the middle of that window, dancing like a stripper but without taking her clothes off, but this time it was her dance that had caused Jojo to climb the stairs and stop right at the top of the second floor staircase it made him feel horny inside. As he finally stopped she heard him stop and turned to face him with her mask still on, they just stared at each other for a while and it wasn't until a wind blew her hair when he realized that she was on the edge of the window prepared to take a jump, Jojo being worried if she might actually do it took a step forward and in that moment she did it, the girl had flung herself backwards of the window. Shocked by her action, Jojo ran to the window to see if she'd survived, the only thing he saw was a yellow orange mirage of destroyed buildings and roaring flames with many staircases moving everywhere and chains dangling from ceilings. As Jojo became even more worried a strange figure had emerged from below and landed on a straight walkway, it was the girl she survived and this time she had gestured Jojo to follow her, with a deep breath he jumped from the window and caught a chain that had swung him to her, and as he barely landed she began to run down the walkway, Jojo knew she wanted him to follow and that's what he did, he began to run after here as the girl reached the edge of the walkway she made another leap and this time was caught in an elevator like object moving upwards in a fatal attempt Jojo had done the same and was caught as well in and elevator and soon was catching up to speed with the girl, but as soon he caught up with her a flash had gone between them and she was gone, this time Jojo jumped from his elevator and made a safe landing on the roof of a building. That's when he got a better view of were he was, it was a destroyed wasteland of buildings, staircases, chains, and flames that didn't seem burn, he was in another world besides his own and this one didn't look to inviting. Just as he was lost in thought a hand had slipped up his shoulder which had caused him to turn around, there face to face with him was the girl with the mask this time she began to lather her body against Jojo's causing him to move back away from her and soon she caressed his neck and brought her mask very close to his face it was like a lap dance only he was standing, soon Jojo took another step back but as he did it had caused him to fall of the edge with the girl still embracing him. Together they fell into the flames that still did not burn. Jojo was worried and scared and wondered if he was going to die with this girl still holding on to him but as they continued to fall the girl had reached for her mask and slowly removed it from her face, as she did the first thing Jojo had noticed was her dark deep green eyes that stared deeply into Jojo's, then in a quick second the girl had caught a chain and saved herself from falling, except for Jojo who still continued to fall had noticed that the girl had left him her mask, but in that instant Jojo had hit a had surface sliding him downward and into a fiery pit of disaster. Scared and terrified the thought of dying was still in Jojo's head, was he really going to die but as he continued to slide he saw the girl dangling right above the fire with her hand held out, was she trying to save him how could he trust her after what she had put him through, would he rather die in the fire or be saved by this girl who has led him into a world like this. As he continued to get closer and closer into the fire he didn't think about it anymore he reached for her hand and she flung him upwards were he was now sliding on his feet down a banister rail. In that moment he was relieved for his life that he was alive, but he still didn't know were he was going as he continued to slide down the rail, soon the girl had slide past him on the opposite side of the banister rail, and that's when Jojo had a good view of her face, she had a pale complexion but it was her eyes that had got his attention. He didn't get a chance to stare long enough when she was pulled up by another dangling chain.

Jojo; Damn she's like a friken cat!

As Jojo watched her fly away he had hit the end of he banister rail and was soon falling again but this time alone as he fell he saw above the girl dive down and catch his arm and fling him into a hole were he continued to fall but this time he was hearing music but heavy screaming hard core music getting closer and closer and then he landed on his back on a soft surface and that's when the music was louder and much closer. It was at that moment when he began to feel like he was being lowered and soon a bright light had followed as he continued to go down and in that that moment he knew what was happening and he knew were he was, he was in a huge bird cage being lowered onto a stage were there was a concert going on and a band right below him, he felt the tension as everyone in the crowd stared at him and started screaming even louder even the lead singer had stopped singing to turn and see him and then turn back to the crowd to continue his song;

lead singer; YOU SEE I CANNOT BE FORSAKEN BECAUSE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE, WE WALK AMONGST YOU FEEDING, RAPING MUST WE HIDE FROM EVERYONE.

As soon as he finished that lyric, a body had fallen from above and landed on the stage, it was that girl again but this time as she landed she began to play a violin solo following the tone of the music while the singer kept singing;

lead singer; EVERYONE,EVERYOOOOOOOOOOOOONE.

That's when the band had stopped playing completely and they all turned to face Jojo they all looked both amazed and surprised by him, was it because he was in a cage or because he had something attached to him either way the expression still stayed until the lead singer had gone up to his mic and spoke with a clear British accent;

lead singer; People of the dark world we give you the new sacrifice.

*crowd cheers*

The sound of that word had made Jojo jump, he really was going to die. As soon as the crowd had died down the band began to play a various number of songs that were new to Jojo and sounded rather different than the music he listened too, but mostly he kept his eyes on the girl who had played a different number of instruments from a guitar to a keyboard and music mixing table in a different song. As Jojo began to get carried away with the music he came to realizing he was still in the cage dangling above the drummer's set, at least it was comfortable with it's oversize deep violet pillow cushion, he decided to make the most of the time he spent in the cage and sat back when another thought entered his head, the mask, he looked in his hands and surely enough he still had the mask the girl had left him when they were falling, he finally had a chance to observe it, it was a full face mask with one side painted black and the other white, above and below each eye was a different symbol of the four aces in black, white and red. Jojo had seen those symbols somewhere before but couldn't quite remember were, as he continued to stare at the mask he was taken out of his concentration when he heard a tapping sound against the cage bars, he looked up and saw the girl standing there, Jojo had been wondering about this girl, who was she, why did she bring him here and what's going on, he moved closer to get a better view of her face, her face was a pale washed out color and her hair had white highlights, her lips thin but slender, the only thing that had really mesmerized Jojo was her eyes, her deep dark green eyes were mezmerzing like a dark and never ending hole, if you look deep into them you would see nothing but darkness other than that she was very strange, she stared back at Jojo and spoke

Girl; Hey I know you have a lot of questions on your mind and probably wondering were you are, what's going on and who I am, but don't worry about it this will all be over soon just sit tight, only three more songs left and I promise I'll get you out of here..., that may sound weird considering were you are right now but you can trust me I promise I will not let anything happen to you, and I never break a promise, belive it.

Jojo didn't know what to say but for some reason he felt like he could trust this girl he knew she would never do anything to danger him, ignoring the fact that he was in a cage but either way he just nodded and she gave him a quick smirk and turned away.

Girl;*turns back to him* Oh by the way my name's Demise.

As she walked away Jojo noticed a tattoo mark on her back and this mark was something he was sure he has seen before but couldn't remember were, he scanned his brain for a clue about this mark and thought back to were he'd seen it, nothing had come to mind but he would find out sooner or later, until then he kept his eye's on Demise and watched as she handled a different instrument with care and experience, Jojo soon felt a flush of heat across his face, what was this he was feeling he never felt this way it was something new to him, all he knew now was this girl Demise was the only person he could look up to know. Suddenly the lead singer had gone to the mic and made a quick speech;

lead singer; Alright citizens of the dark world we are very pleased to present this year's sacrifice for the "Four Ace" festival.

In that moment Jojo had remembered were he had seen that mark, that mark that was carved into the floor outside in the ruin circle was that same mark shown on Demise back and on the mask.

lead singer; And of course the one who has brought us this most valuable sacrifice is none other than or own "Princess of Sound" Demise.

*crowd cheers louder and sing's her name*

lead singer; In appreciation of this prize package before us our princess is going to honor us with her voice, let us hear you sing princess, let your voice fill our hearts with sound.

Demise; It's true, we're all a little insane. But it's so clear, Now that I'm unchained.

Jojo just stares at the girl and listens, she had a subtle and clear voice one that he had never heard before, but she was an amazing singer, by the end of the song, she had taken her place back at the right hand side of the stage, and that's when the band had began singing another song.

Jojo continued to stare out at the crowd and then look back at the band he knew on thing, that he was in an underground concert hall for anarchists who opposed the real world, there really was a secret cult being held right under the town of Whoville, they just didn't know it. As the crowd quieted down the band had begun to play there last song.

lead singer; YOU FELL AWAY, WHAT MORE CAN I SAY? THE FEELINGS EVOLVED, I WON'T LET IT OUT, I CAN'T REPLACE..... YOUR SCREAMING FACE, FEELING THE SICKNESS INSIDE

lead singer; Ladies and gentlemen this is our time when we celebrate the birth of our god, he who gave up his life to save ours, we have started the festival with the first rule, a sacrifice is brought before us, in a week we celebrate the birth of his child and in thirteen day's we will celebrate his death and the rise of the city. Long live the Four Ace Jester.

*crowd cheers*

lead singer; With the final piece in our hands the "Four Ace festival" will soon bring us a good year of good harvest and protection from the outside world, may we rest in peace tonight, good night people of the dark world, go home and rest your soul's for tonight we slumber for our father, may he rest in peace.

As soon as the crowd began to clear the concert hall, Jojo had felt the cage he was in lower into the ground and go through the stage floor, as he reached the ground he was now in a lounge room below the stage a few minutes later the members of the band had entered the lounge room and plop themselves on couches and grabbed themselves glasses of liquor.

Danny; Well mates, I'd say we did a smashing job tonight and the crowd loved it.

Kane;*downs drink* We did more than just good we were fantastic although I still think we should have played, Sorrow through your eyes, it would have really gotten the crowd pumped.

Marius; NA man that song is to slow the crowd what's something more smashing something to get the blood pumpen you know.

Calius; Boy's you were all fantastic but let's not forget about our princess Demise, she did a wicked job with that entrance and she arrived right on time for her solo.

Demise;*stands by door and slowly enters* Thank you Calius, and for the rest of you what did we learn from this little freak show.

*all look embarrassed* Never deny you when make a promise.

Calius; Ha, she got you good eh boy's

Demise; Not so fast Calius, if I remember correctly we all made a little wager saying I couldn't make it back in time for my solo well it just so happened that I did make it back in time didn't I so pay up.

*everyone drops money on table*

Calius;*creeps away slowly*

Demise; Were do you think you'r going Calius, I remember making a very big bet with you *collects money* something about how I could'nt bring in a higher quality package than the one you brought in last year *counts money* you owe me a very large amount Calius and you never back down from a bet, right.

Calius;*grumbles and places a large sum in her hands*

Demise;*smiles* Thank you hopefully you'll all think twice before you try to outsmart me *shoves money into belt pocket* I really hate to say this but your all pathetic.

*all turn to the cage Jojo is in*

Calius; I still can't believe you caught the mayor's son it's incredible how you work.

Danny; Yeah we all tried to capture him but he was just to difficult to get a hold of how'd you do it Demise.

Demise; Well unlike you A-holes who don't do an inch of work at all, I actually took the time to do a little research on my packages which gives me an advantage at catching them.

Kane; What's was the tyke's name again it keeps slipping me mind, what was it eh, Kopo, Hobo, Elmo, Polo....

Jojo/Demise; Jojo!

*stare at each other*

Marius; Well what do you know the silent emo wonder speaks.

Jojo; Were the hell am I and why the hell am I in this cage. *angry tone*

*all smile*

Calius; Welcome to Anti-Whoville little emo, the darker side of the real world. *evil smirk*
